There are not many hotels like our Hideaway Resort. The location, the philosophy and over 100 years of tradition are something very special, and not just for our guests. In around 60 rooms high up on the mountain, we accommodate up to 150 hotel guests at a time all year round. On nice days, all 300 seats are sometimes occupied by guests and day-trippers. Duties and responsibilities with immediate effect or by arrangement

  • Management of the kitchen team and operational collaboration
  • Creation of seasonal and regional dishes
  • Ensuring smooth processes and efficient working methods Kitchen
  • Implementation and control of the cleaning and hygiene concept according to HACCP
  • Sustainable cooperation with suppliers within 100 km
  • Cost control and price calculation

Welcoming guests in a natural paradise? You are not only an important linchpin on the Fafleralp, but also an important contact person for our guests.  

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Breakfast service
  • Lunch service à la carte
  • Evening service mainly for hotel guests with half board

Professional requirements:

  • Work experience in the hotel industry and/or gastronomy
  • Language skills in German, French and English
  • Good manners and well-groomed appearance

Fancy a new area of activity? We are looking for a chef (m/f) who enjoys his profession creatively and traditionally. You are aware that regional delicacies are the magnet for all guests and employees. In a varied field of activity (à la carte, banquet, self-service & staff catering), we offer a lot of freedom to help shape things.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Production & Mise en Place
  • Production of all dishes including breakfast & catering
  • Assistance in self-service
  • HACCP

Professional requirements:

  • Experience in the hotel and catering industry
  • Language skills in German and French or English
  • Knowledge of seasonal cuisine
