Arrival

High in the Alps is closer than you think. From the Mittelland, you can take the train (also by car) through the Lötschberg tunnel, from western Switzerland simply up the Valais. From Goppenstein it takes another 30 minutes to reach us. In summer you can take the post bus to us. In winter you can only get as far as Blatten. Then you walk for an hour through the unique snowy landscape. An unforgettable experience.

Occasions

Special occasions deserve a special place. That's why the Fafleralp is also an excellent venue for celebrations. We will do everything we can to create unforgettable moments for your wedding reception or birthday. By the way, we have a special menu card for events with ten or more people that can serve as inspiration. Just get in touch with us. We look forward to planning together with you.

History

Our main building, the Hotel Fafleralp, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2008. If you are interested, you can read here how it all came about, who laid the foundation stone for accommodation in this dreamlike place and why we can still enjoy it today.
