The newly designed Loichi Ball Trail is an entertaining hiking experience for the whole family. It runs from Lauchernalp through the refreshing Baan forest down to Wiler. Along this route you will encounter ten original ball tracks - fun for young and old alike.

Worth knowing:

• With the Lötschental Guest Card you not only get to Wiler free of charge, but you can also use the Wiler cable car.
• The ball trail takes about 1.5 hours.
• As a hotel guest, you can get balls free of charge at the hotel reception

At the start of the season, take the bus up to Lauchernalp

From April 15, 2024 to June 7, 2024, the Wiler-Lauchernalp aerial cableway will be out of service due to extensive renovation work.

The conversion includes the replacement of the drive, which will enable even more energy-efficient operation in the future. At the same time, the undercarriages of both cabins will be dismantled and overhauled in accordance with regulations.

For this reason, buses will be used for Wiler-Lauchernalp traffic up to and including June 7.

The travel times are as follows: 

Wiler-Lauchernalp: 09.25, 10.25, 14.25, 15.25

Lauchernalp-Wiler: 10.00, 11.00, 15.00, 16.00

We are also opening our completely renovated Langgletscher House this weekend.
It has 21 stylishly furnished rooms with washbasins, shared showers and toilets. It offers several lounges, as well as a studio for up to 50 people with modern conference technology. Whether you are planning a family event , a company seminar or a yoga workshop: You've come to the right place.

The refurbishment involved various structural measures to renovate the time-honored stone building. It was and is important to us that local craftsmen were involved in the renovation. Regionality is a matter close toour heartsin all respects -you will find it on the plate, in the wine cellar or in the sleeping comfort.
