To Fafleralp

By public transport

You can reach Fafleralp in a particularly environmentally friendly way. On the north-south axis Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon, you can reach Goppenstein railway station – the gateway to the Lötschental valley – every hour. From here, take the bus to Wiler. From there, take the cable car up to Lauchenalp.

Once you arrive at Lauchenalp, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Lötschental mountains. Your seats on the small bus, which takes you on an exciting journey via the emergency road (closed to private traffic) directly to the hotel, will be reserved by us.

Our tip: For our hotel guests, the journey from Goppenstein to Fafleralp is already included in the guest card.

By car

Coming from Bern, take the Kandersteg–Goppenstein car transport service and follow the road into the Lötschental valley until you reach Wiler. From the Rohnetal valley, turn north at Gampel/Steg into the Lötschental valley, where you follow the signs to Wiler. In Wiler, park your car directly at the cable car car park (day ticket CHF 8.00 per day) and take the cable car up to Lauchenalp.

As you ascend to Lauchenalp, you leave everyday life behind. Your holiday begins. Your ticket is already included in your guest card. Once you reach the top, take the small bus directly to the hotel. We will be happy to reserve your seats for you!

Our tip: Make sure your luggage is easy to load and well protected during transport.
